Ok I'm lieing, sorta. I DID just get a Wii but I'm not all that excited lol. Wii sports is semi-fun, for about the first 10 minutes. Then I got this Overkill zombie game of some sort. They definately aim for the lame, bad-writting humor. They fail, but they're still semi-amusing. Of course like every other zombie game, it's too dark, but at least the crosshairs turn red when it's on a Zombie, so that helps. Levels are really long and, if you die, you can sacrafice half your points to continue. That ensures you can beat the game, however you need points to upgrade your guns or just plain purchase new ones.
Tomorrow I'll get a 2nd controller and a couple new games. Probably Super Smash Bros Melee (Which I loved the first one, though I've played a demo at best-buy and know that it doesnt' really require much shaking movement of controllers to play.) Or this weird sword game. You'd think there'd be more sword games. o.0 Anyways, any suggestions for games would be greatly appreciated. I can't promote the Wii, or go against it yet, but I can tell you putting it together is a pain in the butt. There is the usual connecting it to the TV via the Yellow, Red, and White cords, and the usual power cord. But there's also a Motion Censor bar, Motion Censor Stand, Wii Stand, You must Sync remotes to the Wii, You must put the batteries in Wii controler which requires you to take out the gel cover, then they tell you that you should put it back on... *sighs* Yeah, pain in the butt...

I never seriously considered buying a Wii. Seems like a waste of money to me. It would be fun for like 10 minutes and then I'd realize I'm standing up all the time to play games. Video games were meant to be lazy! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh I cheat and sit down. XD But yeah, the games are.. Well.. Let's put it this way.. I bet there are less than 100 games for the Wii, not including all the variations of one game, such as Tennis/table tenis/ping pong/ect.
